TIL CHI VADI How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?
TIL CHI VADI Recipe
Ingredients:
• 125 grams sesame seeds;
• 50 grams roasted peanuts;
• 10 cardamoms;
• ¼ cup powdered dry coconut;
• 250 grams sugar.
Method:
1. Roast sesame seeds over girdle to a light brown colour.
2. Cool and powder together with peanuts.
3. Put 1 cup water in sugar and prepare a syrup of one-thread consistency.
4. Put in the sesame seed mixture and cardamoms and keep on stirring till
the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the vessel.
5. Put the mixture in a greased tbali, level the surface and sprinkle
coconut on top.
6. Mark into squares with a sharp knife.
7. Break the squares when the vadi turns cold and store in an airtight
tin.
