TIL CHE LADDU How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?

TIL CHE LADDU Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 kilo sesame seeds;
• 750 grams chikki jaggery;
• 250 grams coarsely pounded peanuts;
• 250 grams dry coconut, grated finely;
• 2 tblsps. Sliced pistachios and raisins;
• 1 tblsp. Cardamom seeds;
• Dash of salt;
• A few sliced almonds.


Method:

1. Pick and wash the seeds and dry them in the sun.
2. When still slightly damp put them in a napkin and rub them so that the skin comes off.
3. Soak jaggery in 1 glass of water, when it melts strain through a cloth.
4. Put over a slow fire and prepare a syrup of one-thread consistency.
5. Put in the rest of the above ingredients and keep on stirring till the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the vessel.
6. Remove from fire and stir constantly till it cools.
7. When cool enough grease your hands and shape into balls.
8. Set them aside to turn cold and hard and then store in airtight tins.
