SUNDH PAK How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?
SUNDH PAK Recipe
Ingredients:
• 250 grams flour,
• 750 grams gramflour;
• 200 grams edible gum or gaund;
• 150 grams each of almonds; pistachios, cashewnuts and raisins;
• 100 grams poppy seeds;
• 2 tblsps. Each of ground dry ginger and cardamom seeds;
• 1 tsp grated nutmeg;
• 250 grams khoya;
• Silver warq;
• 1 kilo sugar,
• Ghee.
Method:
1. Put 1 glass water in sugar and prepare a syrup of one-thread consistency.
2. Blanch and slice all the nuts.
3. Heat 100 grams ghee and fry the gum.
4. When it puffs, remove and powder.
5. Fry all the nuts and raisins and remove from fire.
6. Now heat 500 grams ghee and fry both the flours till half fried, add
the khoya and fry the mixture to a nice golden colour, mix in the rest
of the above ingredients and cook till the mixture turns thick and leaves
the sides of the vessel.
7. Remove from fire, put in a greased tbali, level the surface, cover
with warq when cold cut into pieces.
8. This is usually made in the cold season.
