SHRIKHAND How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?

SHRIKHAND Recipe

Ingredients:

• 3 cups curds;
• 1 cup ground, sugar;
• 25 grams each of sliced almonds, pistachios and charoli.
• 1 tsp cardamom powder,
• a few drops each of yellow food colouring and of nose essence.
• Fresh rose petals.

Method:

1. Put curds in a clean piece of cloth and tie loosely, hang up for a couple of hours to enable all the liquid to drip through.
2. Then beat up the curds along with sugar till smooth.
3. Mix in the nuts, essence and cardamoms and colour.
4. Decorate with petals and serve chilled.
5. You can also add to this a cup of mixed fresh fruits of your choice.
6. This is mostly eaten with piping hot salted puries.
