SHARER NARU How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?
SHARER NARU Recipe
Ingredients:
• 4 litres milk,
• ¾ kilo sugar,
• silver foil,
• 1 tsp. Of rose essence
• ghee.
Method:
1. For this sweetmeat you need a coal fire, a hand-fand and a wide-mouthed
and heavy-bottomed pan.
2. Put the milk in the pan and place over the fire.
3. Do not stir the milk,. But keep on fanning it till you see a thick
layer of cream on its surface.
4. Remove the cream carefully with a flat spatula and if possible in a
single piece and put over a flat strainer.
5. When all the milk has drained from the cream, cut into small pieces
and place in a place.
6. In this way go on removing the cream from milk till all the milk is
used up.
7. Now put 1 glass of water in sugar and prepare a syrup of one-thread
consistency.
8. Add essence and if you like a few drops of your favourite food colouring.
9. Now heat enough ghee for deep frying to smoking, lower the heat and
fry a few pieces of cream at a time over a very slow fire to a nice golden
colour.
10. Drain and toss into the syrup.
11. Cool, cover with foil and serve as required.
