SEV MITHAI How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?
SEV MITHAI Recipe
Ingredients:
• 500 grams gramflour;
• 500 grams sugar;
• 250 grams khoya
• Pinch of soda bicarbonate,
• 2 tblsps. Rose water;
• 50 grams each of sliced almonds and pistachios;
• 25 grams melon seeds;
• Silver warq;
• 1 tbslp. Cardamom seeds;
• Ghee.
Method:
1. Mix together flour and soda laong with enough water to form a stiff
dough.
2. Heat thee to smoking, lower the heat and rub the dough through a sev
mould into the smoking far.
3. Stir lightly with the end of a spoon to prevent the sev from forming
into lumps.
4. Drain and set aside.
5. Melt sugar along with 1 glass water and prepare a syrup of one-string
consistency.
6. Mix in the khoya till smooth.
7. Add the rest of the above ingredients and cook till thick.
8. Put in a greased tbali, level the surface and cover with warq.
9. When cold cut into pieces and store in airtight tins.
