SANTRANU PAK Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 kilo red kola peeled and grated;
• A few drops orange red colour,
• A few halved pistachios;
• Pulp of 2 oranges and juice of 2 oranges;
• 150 grams sugar.
Method:
1. Steam the kola and squeeze out all the moisture.
2. Put 1 cup of water in sugar and prepare a thick syrup of one thread
consistency.
3. Put in kola, orange juice and orange pulp and cook till the mixture
turns thick.
4. Remove from fire, mix in colour and put in a greased tbali, sprinkle
pistachios on top and set either in the fridge or a cool and dry place
for 4 hours.
5. Cut into small pieces and serve when required.
6. Lasts for 3 to 4 days.
