NUT HALWA How to Prepare
NUT HALWA Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 litre milk;
• 100 grams cashewnuts;
• 50 grams each of almonds, pistachios, walnuts and roasted peanuts;
• 75 grams chocolate;
• ½ tsp. Of rose essence;
• Silver warq.
• 200 grams sugar.
Method:
1. Powder all the nuts together.
2. Put milk and sugar on a slow fire when the mixture turns a little thick,
put in all the nuts and keep on stirring till the mixture leaves the sides
of the vessel.
3. Divide into two portions.
4. Melt chocolate and mix in one portion.
5. Put it into a greased thali, put the remaining portion on top.
6. Level the surface, decorate with warq and cut into pieces when cold.
Store in an airtight container.
