MOHAN LADDUS How to Prepare

MOHAN LADDUS Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups powdered sugar,
• 2 tblsps. Melted ghee;
• 50 grams almonds, pistachios and cashewnuts;
• 1 tbslp. Coarsely pounded cardamom seeds;
• 25 grams poppy seeds.

Method:

1. Rub ghee into the flour and then add enough water to form a stiff dough.
2. Pound together all the nuts to a powder.
3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll out each ball into a thin puri.
4. When all the puries have been thus rolled, set aside for 15 minutes and deep fry till crisp and golden.
5. Cool and grind to a fine powder.
6. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and mix nicely.
7. Now take a muslin cloth and put in 2 tblsps. Of the mixture, then press the mixture hard into a round ball inside the clothe itself.
8. Remove the ball from the cloth and set aside to turn cold.
9. Prepare all the balls in the same way and store in airtight tins.
