MEWA PAK How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?
MEWA PAK Recipe
Ingredients:
• 500 grams sugar;
• ¼ tsp. Of saffron essence;
• Silver warq
• 1 tsp coarsely pounded cardamoms;
• 100 grams coarsely pounded almonds;
• 100 grams coarsely pounded pistachios;
• 250 grams coarsely pounded walnuts and cashewnuts;
• 100 grams melon seeds;
Method:
1. Fry all the nuts to a red colour.
2. Put 2 cups water in sugar and prepare a syrup of one-string consistency.
3. Put in the nuts and cardamoms and cook till the mixture leaves the
sides of the pan.
4. Put in a geased tbali, level the surface, cover with warq and set aside
to turn cold, cut into squares and store in an airtight tin.
