MAZOON How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?

MAZOON Recipe


Ingredients:

• 250 grams each of almonds, pistachios, walnuts, cashewnuts and khoya;
• 2 tblsps. Poppy seeds;
• 1 tblsp. Coarsely pounded cardamoms;
• Silver warq.

Method:

1. Pound all the nuts coarsely.
2. Put sugar along with 1 cup water in a pan and prepare a syrup of one-thread consistency.
3. Put in khoya and blend it well into the syrup.
4. Remove from fire and stir in the rest of the above ingredients.
5. Mix together briskly.
6. Put in a greased tbali and level the surface.
7. Cover with warq and cut into any shapes you desire when it turns cold.
8. Store in airtight tins.
