KULFI How to Prepare
KULFI Recipe
Ingredients:
• 2 litres milk;
• 2 tblsps. Cornflour;
• 125 grams each of almonds and pistachios, finely sliced,
• 75 grams each of shredded roasted almonds and coarsely pounded
fried cashewnuts;
• 100 grams sugar,
• ½ tsp. Of saffron essence.
Method:
1. Blend cornflour in a little milk into a smooth paste.
2. Heat the remaining milk along with sugar.
3. When it dissolves, add the cornflour and cook over a slow fire till
the mixture starts to thicken slightly.
4. Remove from fire and mix in the rest of the above ingredients.
5. Put the mixture in individual kulfi moulds and set in the freezer for
8 hours.
6. If you like you can reduce the amount of nuts or you can change the
nuts to suit your taste.
7. To serve falooda kulfi, put falooda in individual ice cream cups and
sprinkle rose water on top.
8. Place kulfi on top after cutting it into pieces and put cracked ice
around the whole before serving.
