KHIRNI How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?
KHIRNI Recipe
Ingredients:
• 6 cups milk;
• 50 grams vermicelli;
• A few drops of rose essence
• Rose petals;
• 25 grams mixed fried nuts sliced;
• 2 tblsps. Fried raisins, sliced;
• Pieces of silver foil;
• 1 tsp. Cardamom powder;
• ¾ cup sugar,
• Ghee.
Method:
1. Fry the vermicelli in 4 tblsps. Ghee to a nice golden colour.
2. Boil sugar and milk together.
3. When the sugar dissolves add the cardamoms and vermicelli and boil
till the mixture is reduced to about three-fourths of its original quantity.
4. Mix in the rest of the above ingredients and serve immediately in coffee
cups.
5. Many people like to eat kbirmi with piping hot crisp and slightly salted
puries.
