GULAB JAMUN How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?

GULAB JAMUN Recipe


Ingredients:

• 12 tblsps. Milk powder,
• 3 tblsps. Maida or refined flour,
• ½ litre milk.
• 3 tblsps. Curds;
• 2 tblsps. Melted ghee;
• 3 tblsps. Milk,
• a pinch of soda bicarbonate
• 1 tblsp. Seeds of big black cardamoms;
• 2 cups sugar,
• 1 tsp. Of rose essence;
• ghee.

Method:

1. Boil half litre milk over a slow fire till it turns thick and leaves the sides of the vessel.
2. Remove from fire, cool and mix in milk powder, maida, curds ghee, milk and soda and knead to a smooth mixture.
3. Form into round balls around cardamom seeds.
4. Put 2 cups water in sugar and prepare a syrup of one-threaded consistency.
5. Add essence.
6. Deep fry the gulab-jamuns over a slow fire to a golden colour and toss into the syrup.
7. These last for a few days in the fridge.
