How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?

GRAM FLOUR KARANJIAS Recipe

Ingredients:

• Take for the pastry and the paste the same ingredients as plain karanjia but for the filling take
• 500 grams gram flour.
• 400 grams ground sugar,
• 1 dry coconut, grated;
• 100 grams mixed nuts of your choice;
• 25 grams raisins;
• 2 tblsps. Poppy seeds;
• 1 tsp cardamom powder,
• ½ tsp. Nutmeg;
• ghee.

Method:

1. Roast the coconut on a dry girdle.
2. Fry the nuts, raisins and poppy seeds and pound coarsely.
3. Heat 5 tblsps. Ghee and fry the gram flour to a golden colour.
4. Remove from fire, cool and mix in the rest of the filling ingredients.
5. Now prepare the karanjias in the same manner as plain karanjaias.
