GOJA How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?

GOJA Recipe

Ingredients:

• 4 cups flour,
• 2 tblsps. Seeds of big black cardamoms;
• 1 tblsp. Of rose essence;
• a handful of dried rose petals;
• 1 kilo sugar,
• ghee.

Method:

1. Put 1 glass water in sugar and prepare a thick syrup, mix in the essence, remove from fire and keep it warm.
2. Mix together flour, baking powder and cardamoms.
3. Rub in 1 cup melted ghee, then add enough water to form quite a stiff dough.
4. Divide the dough into 3 portions and roll out each portion into one-fourth inch thick disc.
5. Cut into long strips and each strip into small squares.
6. Now follow the same procedure as shown in the previous recipe.
