GHARNA Recipe

Ingredients:

• 250 grams fine semolina;
• 250 grams khoya;
• 500 grams sugar;
• ½ litter milk;
• 1 tsp. Cardamom powder,
• silver warq;
• 25 grams each of fried and sliced almonds, pistachios, charoli and raisins
• ¼ tsp. Essence of saffron;
• ghee.

Method:

1. Heat 100 grams ghee and fry the vermicelli to a golden colour.
2. Add milk and sugar and cook till the milk is absorbed.
3. Put in the khoya and mix till thick.
4. Mix in the rest of the above ingredients and serve hot decorated with warq.
