How to Prepare
DILJANI Recipe
Ingredients:
• 500 grams khoya;
• 400 grams powdered sugar,
• 250 grams semolina;
• 250 grams ghee;
• 5 eggs, beaten;
• ½ tsp. Baking powder;
• 25 grams each of sliced raisins, almonds and pistachios;
• 1 tsp. Cardamom powder;
• ¼ tsp. Of saffron essence.
Method:
1. Mix together all the above ingredients with half of the nuts.
2. Mix nicely and spread in a greased baking dish, sprinkle remaining
nuts on top and bake in a moderate oven till golden and firm.
3. Cut into slices and serve.
