CHOKHA NU VADA How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?

CHOKHA NU VADA Recipe

Ingredients:

• ½ litre milk;
• 100 grams rice flour;
• 200 grams sugar,
• 25 grams each of almonds, pistachios, charoli nd raisins;
• 1 tsp. Each of cardamom powder and rose essence;
• Ghee.

Method:

1. Put milk and sugar together over a slow fire.
2. When the sugar dissolves add flour and all the above ingredients;
3. Cook till thick and leaves the sides of the vessel.
4. Remove from fire and put in a greased tbali, level the surface and set aside to turn cold.
5. Cut into small pieces and deep fry to a light golden colour.
6. Drain, cool and store in an airtight tin.
