How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?

CHANDRAPAULI Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 kilo paste of coconut;
• ½ kilo sugar,
• 2 tblsps. Ghee.
• For stuffing --- 500 grams khoya;
• 100 grams mixed nuts;
• 2 tblsps. Each of coarsely pounded khadi shakar and sesame.
• A 1ittle edible camphor.

Method:
1. Fry nuts and slice.
2. Roast the khoya on a dry girdle, mix with all the stuffing ingredients.
3. Put sugar, ghee and coconut together in a pan and keep on stirring till the mixture turns dry and thick.
4. Remove from fire and cool.
5. Shape the mixture into half-moon shapes around the stuffing.
6. Set aside to turn cold and hard.
7. Store in airtight tins.
