BATATE CHI VADI How to Prepare -Make -Cook ?

BATATE CHI VADI Recipe

Ingredients:

• 500 grams potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed;
• 250 grams khoya;
• 350 grams sugar;
• 1 cup ghee;
• 100 grams mixed sliced nuts of your choice;
• 1 tsp cardamom powder;
• 1 few drops of rose essence;
• Silver warq;


Method:

1. Put 1 cup water in sugar and prepare a syrup of one-thread consistency.
2. Heat ghee and fry potatoes and khoya to a light golden colour.
3. Mix in the syrup along with nuts and cardamoms and keep on stirring till the mixture leaves the sides of the vessel.
4. Remove from fire and put in a greased tbali, level the surface, cover with warq and set aside to turn cold.
5. Cut into pieces and store in an airtight container.
